Volunteering at the East Teen Center (ETC)

Applications for the NEW East Teen Corps (ETC) will be accepted in September. Eligible teens will work in the NEW East Teen Center for at least two hours per week for a designated time.

Basic Level (13 years of age or older)

• Creates displays and booklists
• Cleans, shelves, and weeds materials
• Makes copies and collates materials
• Pulls books on router lists

Intermediate Level (15 years of age or older with one year's experience as a Library volunteer)

• Basic Level responsibilities
• Helps with computer problems
• Monitors check-out area and exit
• Assists with audio-visual equipment
• Updates web page
• Greets and interacts with the public
• Assists with programs
