American Museum of Natural History: North American Ethnography Collection - This is a cool online database of artifacts from every Native American cultural region in North America. For instance, if you were to click on "Basin" on the map you could search "Ute" (choose "material" in drop-down menu) and bring up 434 pictures of Ute artifacts. These are great additions to any report!

Anasazi & Pueblo Cultures of the Southwest: Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado - This site has tons of Native American information (go into the Desert USA link) but, of course, focuses on the Anasazi.

Edward S. Curtis's The North American Indian Photographic Images - This is an enormous collection of Native American photographs taken by Edward S. Curtis. You may search by keyword, subject, tribe or geographic location.

Flags of the Native Peoples of the United States - This site features 130 Native American flags and their stories.

Great Chiefs & Leaders by Indigenous People.net - This is a list of Native American chiefs and leaders of the past. A picture and sometimes a short biography are included.

Indian Pueblo Cultural Center - The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center offers in-depth information on the 10 Pueblo tribes of New Mexico.

Indians tribes @ Learner .org - This site has great interactives. This section gives good introductions to many the major Indian tribes in North America.

Infoplease.com: Selected American Indian Tribes - FactMonster presents the histories of over 100 tribes.

Native American Mythology @ Encyclopedia Mythica - Need a Native American myth or mythical term? Come to this site.

Native American Nations - This site contains links to different native nations and are alphabetical by tribal name. Many of these tribal links will have a section on the tribe's history.

Native American Regions - A school district in Illinois made this site which presents an overview of Native American regions. Click on an area of the map to learn about life in that region.

Native Americans - The National Portrait Gallery offers short native american biographies with portraits.

Native North America - Minnesota State University offers an emuseum with great information. This section, "Native North America", covers 75 tribes plus Canadian tribes. History, language, daily life, and more are discussed.

Native Tech - This site has a lot of current tribal information and news. Look under "Articles" and "Special Features" for information on Native American clothing, tools, games, toys, food, and more.

The Native Americans @ PBS.org - This PBS site talks about 16 different tribes who came in contact with the Lewis and Clark expedition. These are just some of the 50 tribes Lewis and Clark met on their journey across the western United States.

The Story of the Ute Tribe - This site has good information about the Ute tribe which spanned four states at one time, especially Colorado.

The West - This is a fantastic site that contains a biographical dictionary of many western figures, including Native Americans. Click on Places and Resources for additional information on western history.
