The 1905 Carnegie Public Garden is in an Enterprise Zone. Any contribution of $250 or more (per calendar year) qualifies for the Enterprise Zone tax credit. Individuals and corporate Colorado taxpayers are eligible for the credit regardless of their location with respect to the El Paso County Enterprise Zone.

Contributors can take a 25% tax credit up to $100,000 per year, for contributions made for this approved community development project. The credit is limited to the contributor's Colorado income tax liability.

A monumental metal tree sculpture, created by local artist Judi Elias-Ochs, will be placed on the brick wall behind the performance platform to:

  • grace the Garden,
  • honor donors who designated their gifts of $100 or more to the Garden Endowment, or
  • honor those who have allowed their gifts to be used “where needed most.”

Donors of $100+ have their names engraved on copper leaves, $251+ will be recognized on steel leaves, and those who have donated $501+ will be recognized on brass leaves.
